The Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA) values the input of our members and and we have established various committees and working groups so that we may take advantage of their collective knowledge and experiences to ensure that the strategic objectives of the association are achieved.

Oversees all material aspects of financial reporting, internal controls and the audit of the annual financial statements.

Canada Media Fund Working Group

Works with the Canada Media Fund (CMF), government and industry stakeholders to ensure ongoing public and private support for the CMF and fulfillment of its mandate, and to improve CMF policies and programs in a manner that reflects the interests and addresses the concerns of independent producers.

Copyright Committee

Promotes, advises upon, and assists with maximizing the value of the fundamental interests of members’ copyrights through domestic and international advocacy and administrative activities to ensure a strong legal, commercial and financial incentive framework for the creation and exploitation of multiplatform audiovisual content by independent producers.

Terms of Trade Working Group
