We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Toronto team on a full-time basis.  Reporting to the Vice President, National Industrial Relations and Senior Counsel (“VP”), your primary function is to provide day-to-day administrative and operational support. To be successful in this position, the candidate must be results-oriented and have the demonstrated ability to effectively and independently prioritize workflow in a busy office environment.  

 

What you will do:

  • Manage the VP’s schedule and calendar, planning meetings, conference calls and travel plans
  • Coordinate IR-related meetings and large-scale events, including all related logistics
  • Assist the VP to ensure they are adequately prepared for meetings and events
  • Prepare and reconcile the VP’s expense reports  
  • Provide administrative support including conducting research, creating and maintaining files, attending meetings and taking notes
  • Serve as a point of contact for CMPA-member inquiries
  • Perform other tasks as required, including reception and administrative relief

Education & Experience

  • Minimum two years of industry experience
  • Previous experience in an administration role an asset
  • Post-secondary education in related industry program preferred
